Transdisciplinary Working

A real strength of TRUUD is that we are using a transdisciplinary approach to enable us to address this complex challenge from a wide range of perspectives. The broad range of disciplines involved in the TRUUD research team is represented on the map below. The connections show the importance of health disciplines (e.g. health economics, public health and environmental health), as well as other disciplines such as systems social science and real estate. The more connected a discipline is on the map below, the larger the node that represents it. There are 48 disciplines represented across the TRUUD team, many of these are interconnected and link around the core theme of health.
