The Public Advisory Group

The Public Advisory Group (PAG)’s membership is drawn from people who live in the urban settings that affected by health inequalities, specifically Bristol and Manchester. They review aspects of the information and data produced by TRUUD and contribute to final recommendations.

Responsibility for running the group lies with Andy Gibson and Jo White, and the PAG works particularly closely with them on the development of creative initiatives to influence decision-making (see Public Involvement WP4). Members of the PAG also contribute to annual workshops and public events run by TRUUD.

As part of the Bristol Ideas Festival of the Future City in October 2021, TRUUD took part in a series of key notes and panel discussions to explore how we can build healthier cities. The public advisory group took part in a session looking at a hypothetical scenario to discuss how to bring public voices forward in urban decision making.
